What is Jyotish Sarathi?

Jyotish Sarathi is a complete Vedic astrology software for Android, macOS, and Windows. It generates Kundali charts, dasha periods, panchanga, and 16+ features based on Suryasiddhanta and Drik Siddhanta calculations.

What is the difference between Suryasiddhanta and Drik Siddhanta?

Surya Siddhanta is the classical mathematical model from the ancient Surya Siddhanta text. Drik Siddhanta uses modern observational astronomy with N.C. Lahiri ayanamsa. The app supports both — switch any time in settings.

Is the app available in Hindi and Nepali?

Yes. The app supports English, Hindi, and Nepali — switch language any time from settings.

Do I need an internet connection?

No — all astrological calculations run locally on your device. Internet is only needed to load birth-place data, install updates, and (for premium users) sync data across devices.

How do I install on macOS?

Download the DMG from GitHub Releases and drag the Jyotish Sarathi app into your Applications folder. Open it from Launchpad or Applications.

How does cloud sync work?

Premium subscribers can save their Kundali profiles to our cloud and access them on any device — desktop or mobile. Just sign in with the same account and your saved charts appear automatically.

The Free plan covers 1 device, basic updates, and most calculation features (charts, dasha, panchanga, transits, calendar, and date conversion). Premium adds cloud sync across devices, all advanced features (faladesh, kundali matching, planet strength, ashtakavarga, etc.), and access to all new updates.

How do I make a payment?

In the app, open the Payment screen and scan the QR code with any banking app.

How long does payment verification take?

Verification is manual and usually takes a few hours. Once verified, your subscription activates automatically and the new features unlock.
